Universitetshuset (Uppsala University Main Building)

The Uppsala University Main Building, built in the 1880’s, is situated in the centre of the town, near the cathedral. At the time, it housed all the University’s activities. The University Main Building is still used for lectures, conferences, concerts and university ceremonies.

The first day of the conference, 22 August 2022, will be held at the Uppsala University Main Building, about a 15-minute walk from the Uppsala Central Station.

Aula Medica, Karolinska Institutet

Aula Medica is the large auditorium of Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm. The auditorium is located by Solnavägen facing the new Karolinska University Hospital.

The third day of the conference, 24 August 2022, will be held at Aula Medica. You can get to Aula Medica by bus, subway or commuter train (pendeltåg).

How to get to Aula Medica from Uppsala

Take the commuter train (pendeltåg) from Uppsala Central Station (Train 40 towards Södertälje centrum) from track 3: either 07.26 or 07.56 and get off at Stockholm Odenplan station (10 stops later at 08:19 or 08:49) and you will find a volunteer on the platform (in their white volunteer shirts and with a DevRes 2022 placard) volunteers will wait for 5 minutes after the train arrives and then help you make your way as a group to Karolinska Institutet, Aula Medica.
