All prices above are excluding VAT (taxes). 25% VAT will be added before payment.

The onsite registration fee includes access to all plenary and parallel sessions of the conference, as well as lunch and coffee on August 22 and August 24 according to the conference program. The online registration fee includes access to the plenary and parallel sessions held as hybrid sessions (marked in blue in the program). The conference dinner at Uppsala Castle on August 22 costs 500 SEK.

The fee must be paid in full prior to the conference.

Exchange rates may vary. To see current exchange rates, please ask your bank, or visit a web-based currency converter, for example, oanda.com, x-rates.com, or your choice of bank or converter service.

 

Online registration grants

Online registration grants are available for interested conference participants from and residing in low and middle-income countries. These grants cover the cost of the online registration fee for a limited number of participants. These are available on a first-come basis.
To apply participants must select ‘online registration’ and then select that they are interested in an ‘online registration grant’ when filling out the registration form. Only online registration forms submitted by June 30 will be considered for the grant.

 

Swedish participants

Swedish participants can choose to pay either by credit card or by invoice.
Invoices to Swedish organizations will be sent as an electronic invoice (e-faktura) if possible.

Participants from outside Sweden

All payments must be made in SEK (Swedish krona).
Payment should be made by credit card or by bank transfer (invoice). The payment option ‘Invoice’ is available only until July 10.

Invoice

When choosing ‘International bank transfer’ in the registration form, you will receive an invoice including bank transfer information (bank account number, IBAN, etc). The invoice is created manually, and will be sent as a pdf attachment by e-mail, usually a few days after registration. The participant/payee is responsible for any bank charges/fees associated with the payment.

Information about payment with credit card

We accept the following credit cards: VISA and Mastercard.

For your safety, our payment system is connected to the 3D Secure system for ensuring the security of payments made through the internet. Your card needs to be connected to Verified by Visa or Mastercard SecureCode. Your bank can inform you if your card is connected, and if not already, how it can be connected.

If you receive an error message when paying with your card, please check with your bank to see if they have a block on overseas payments, a block on internet payments, and/or a limit on the amount that can be charged in one day. These are common reasons why a payment initially does not go through.

According to Swedish and EU legislation, 25% Swedish VAT will be added to all registration fees.
This according to EU legislation and regulation for conferences and events (C-647/17, EU:C:2019:195, of 13 March 2019 and Article 53 of Council Directive 2006/112/EC of 28 November 2016) VAT is paid in the country where services are rendered, e.g. the country in which the conference takes place.

Exception: Swedish participants from governmental public sector organizations (e.g., universities, governmental agencies): No VAT will be added. In this case, you must choose Invoice (Swedish billing address only) as the payment mode and provide the VAT number of your employer.

Cancellations

Cancellation of Registration
Notification of cancellation must be made in writing and sent to the conference secretariat.
Cancellation of registration will be accepted until July 12, 2022, up to which date the total amount will be refunded except for a cancellation fee of SEK 500. We regret that no refunds or reductions of fees will be accepted for cancellations made after July 12, 2022, nor for no-shows for any reason.

Change of Name
Should you be unable to attend, you will be given the opportunity to send a colleague in your place. Please contact the conference secretariat as soon as possible.

Academic Conferences, in-house Professional Congress Organizer of Karolinska Institutet and Uppsala University, is the administration office of DevRes 2022. We administer conferences and other events. In order to do this, we must collect and process personal data. The purpose of our privacy policy is to explain the data we collect and how we use it, as well as your rights as a data subject.

Covid-19 Information

The DevRes 2022 organizing committee is dedicated to ensuring the best possible conference experience for all participants. The plan continues to be that the conference will have onsite participation, while also offering digital/remote participation for those abroad who are unable to make it in person. Our hope is that individuals will have a fulfilling experience, whether participating onsite or remotely.

Currently in Sweden all recommendations related to COVID-19 have been removed, we will be keeping an eye on the situation and following any recommendations set forth by the Swedish Public Health agency and both universities. As the situation may be fluid we will update the website here accordingly and send out any important changes via email to all registered participants. Before you Travel:

We ask that all participants traveling from abroad carefully monitor the situation, especially in regards to travel recommendations. All registered participants from abroad will need to follow the guidelines stipulated by the Swedish Public Health agency and the protocols set forth by the Swedish police, please ensure that you check all sites to ensure that you will have no troubles in entering Sweden, and regularly check the following sites as situations may change over time:
